Slackpacking Your Way
We Know Baxter
The 100 Mile Wilderness ranges from Monson, Maine to Abol Bridge, which is just north of us on the West Branch of the Penobscot River. Many hikers need to restock supplies at some point along this remote section of the Appalachian Trail and we are happy to provide this service to our guests. Only $40, or 2 for $50.
Slackpakers - design your own trip- your way anytime. Pick your own dates, and we'll accommodate your individual needs.
Or, if you need help designing your trip, we are experienced and ready to assist you in making the most of your adventure!
Your host Gail has been a Baxter girl since childhood. Her dad, George Blackburn was a Park Ranger and she spent her childhood summers there. That kind of expertise is invaluable and she has some great stories.
